Dr. Bushra's virtual ward rounds:
Dr. Bushra was a pioneer in internal medicine and a lover of knowledge, truly embodying his name.
In our effort to continue his approach, the idea of the virtual rounds emerged, carrying his legacy.
This is a specialised medical education project organised by the Dr Bushra Ibn Auf Endowments Initiative in cooperation with the Khartoum Medical Students' Association (KMSA). It aims to teach clinical skills to final-year medical students at the University of Khartoum.

The areas in which the convey targeted for awareness and treatment services included: Al-Munaba Village and the Boys' Secondary School Shelter Centre—one of the largest centres for displaced persons in the locality.
The number of beneficiaries from the treatment services reached approximately 600 individuals. Additionally, educational seminars were held covering topics such as maternal health, infectious and non-infectious diseases, along with specialised sessions on the most important methods and guidelines for first aid and educational programs for children were also provided.

It’s in the mission of the faculty to continue to provide education that aims at scientific excellence, professionalism, and social responsibility. As part of our efforts in 2009, the Sudan Tropical Exchange Program saw the light as a summer program hosting more than 50 international medical students from across the globe. In 2010, the project was voted as IFMSA best medical students’ project worldwide, and it continues to be a leading project globally. Now that it is becoming a destination for granted knowledge about tropical illnesses and related topics, continuous improvement and quality promotion of the project are central. The scientific component is a priority, and this syllabus design is intended to set the benchmarks and grounds for the academic and research activities of the program
